Why such a jump from 38 idle to 57 load?

Why do I get such a massive jump from my idle temperatures to full load. The 38 idle was taken by leaving the computer sitting for about an hour and recorded temps. Full load 57 was taken with Prime95's ultimate torture test.

Im using a Silent Boost k8 on a 3400+ Clawhammer Core 1mb L2 cache on a MSI k8n neo board. I know the MSI boards have had problems with temperature sensors but why would it say i have a 38 idle if it didn't work correctly.

Thermaltake Xaser III case with 7 80mm case fans ambient is about 22 degrees celcius.

Don't the A64's have cool'n quiet that reduces clock speed when not needed? That would explain it.

Does MBM match your BIOS temp for idle? If so, you need to consider other things, like the paste you used, how good of a job you did pasting and your HSF combo. You're right, that's a fairly large leap in load temp.
