Why should I not get this Codegen C-6209-CA-38C-W Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case?

It's not a good case. The sliding door is held by a spring. This spring come off immediately after the first use. Half the drive bays appears to be unusable due to the design. The 3-1/2" bays for example are partly blocked by the protruding fan enclosure. In addition, you only have 1 external 5-1/2". If you plan to add a second optical, you'll need a new case or use a dremel tool.

i dont see anything wrong with that case, just that all the fans are 80mm, so it may be a little noisy. You dont only have one 5.25 external bay. You have 4 so dont listen to paul. If you are looking for a cheap case with decent design, this isnt a bad case, but check out skyhawk/eagle cases at newegg. They are like budget Lian-Li cases and are very well designed.

You realize that you aren't going to get really high quality at that price, but it doesn't look too bad. IAC, take a look at the Athenatech A600 (601, 602, 605, etc. Newegg had an instant rebate on some of the 605s last I looked) series I think both Newegg and ChievValue (you know they are related companies, right?) carry Athenatech. The PSUs included are Sparkle's budget line - Power-Q. Or consider the Antec SLK3000-B ( I think Amazon or Provantage has the cheapest price right now). Even though with Provantage the only reasonbly priced shipping method is ground, they have warehouses all over, so shipping time is usually pretty fast.
