Why Quadro 3000M is 300$ more than AMD M8900 on Precision M6600?

I want to know why the NVIDIA Quadro 3000M is more expensive than the AMD Firepro M8900 which is the default choice for Dell Precision M6600?

Anyone know why NVIDIA cost more?
 
I believe NVIDIA charges far more for their workstation cards than AMD does, mainly because they have a better reputation for performance and compatibility in that field (whether or not it is actually true is up for debate).
