Why people go to Starbucks

$6.50 can get me pretty fscking blitzed on $2 stein nights at the bar.

Way more bang for my buck there 🙂

Rarely drink coffee, so I don't have the good stuff at home, and besides when I make some, its not as good as starbucks 🙂

Btw, whats the joke about? I dont get it.

<< The coffee is good, but $6.50 for a cup of joe is pretty excessive. That better be some goooooooooooddd coffee. >>

:Q :Q :Q $6.50 per cup? That's insane! Unless cup = 2 litres. Damn, and I thought $2 per cup at our school was stealing!

$6.50 would be for a super large triple mocha with whipped cream or something. A regular cup of coffee is like $1.25

it's fast, it's on the way to work, and it's good coffee. I've never spent more than 5 minutes in a starbucks

<< people that hang out in coffee shops are pathetic. >>

YOUR PATHETIC!

ok, maybe your not, but just b/c you don't do something that other like doing don't mean your better or they are.

peace

Thanks for the insult. I was having a good day until you replied.:|

who said I go to starbucks? shoot if i'm on a date and want to go get coffee i take her to waffle house...now THAT is one fine establishment, besides you don't have to deal with all the people who go there just to been seen - can't eat the music either

i've discovered that coffee from a local chain of gas stations called Kwik Trip is just as good if not better than Starbucks. Also, the gas stations capucino and hot chocolate arent bad either. Starbucks is WAY overrated.

What Starbuck's do you go to? A large is $2 here in NY. Even a large latte is no more than $5.

Haha 🙂
I knew that would get a reaction. I still stand behind my comment, though. I used to work in a coffee shop 😉

-khtm-

<< khtm,

I actually would be offended if I hung out in a normal coffee shop.
>>

glad to hear that you're not, then 😀

<< i take her to waffle house...now THAT is one fine establishment >>

Now if they just knocked the "W" off of their signs, we'd have truth in advertising. 🙂

Cheap burnt beans, over-roasted to cover the lame taste. Starbucks is to coffee what AOL is to ISP's. 😛

you're kidding right?

I've heard people bash the prices, over-franchising, "preppyness", but never the quality of the coffee.

You're going to have to explain that analogy...
