Why oh why can't I listen to internet radio!

Seriously, if I listen to it through yahoo it never breaks up. But when my free songs are done and over with, I try to switch to Winamp internet radio and every 30 seconds it breaks up and has to buffer and what not.

Anyone know a good place to get some decent internet radio?

Eh, but through the yahoo launchcast it works flawlessly.

My internet connection:

Up to 3-5 Mbps download
Up to 896 Kbps upload

Thats not the whole story of speed, though. What kind of latency?

Radio Paradise has a 128k firewall friendly stream that works very well. I can't listen to most other shoutcast stations at work.

It sounds like you're dropping packets. Try pinging something with the -t switch let it run for a minute. See if you get any drops.
