Why not turn the current PS One into a mobile hand held gaming unit?

Take the current PS One, make it even smaller then it is, put an LCD on it and a battery pack. You have a mobile hand held gaming unit which is 50 times more powerful than a GB. So why not?

Because then they would sell like hotcakes, and Sony would make massive amounts of money.

Well they'd have to make a new way to store the games...keeping it on a CD already makes the unit too big.

There was a guy a while back that did this. He made the cd spin on the back. I'll see if I can find a link.

A laptop harddrive or whatever the Ipod uses would fit.

A mini disc maybe. It stores less, so games would be a bit limited.
