Does AT ever to member pruning - you know, eliminating members who joined, have not posted in 6 months, and have fewer than 15 posts? Would it save any forum resources?

Sorry, Euthanasia is still illegal.

They like the bigger numbers. It sounds better to say you have 100,000 members rather than 10,000.

I personally, am for pruning, but I don't think it'd happen.

Agreed.

Also, if they "pruned" old members, then some new person could sign up under the username of a famous old person that stopped visiting, and pretend to have come back (I hope that's coherent ). Anyway, I also think that it probably won't be happening.

When I wanted to change my name from luckster to lucky but lucky was taken by some guy who hadn't visited in like 2 years the mods just deleted their account. :)

Well, I guess if you do... things... to make yourself favorable to the moderators, they will make exceptions sometimes. ;)
