Why not a Gigabyte Dq6?

Two Mobo's the gigbyte DQ6 and the Asus P5B (no Wifi).

I am not a gamer and plan to overclock. Will be purchasing the system from avadirect.com with a 6600 core 2.

The DQ6 catches my eye cause of the 4 Esata heads and its ability to handle more Sata storage than the P5B.

Yep, know the Dq6 is more expensive, but I buy once ever 3years so I have the $$$.

Convince me why to buy a Asus P5B, price doesn't count.

thanks!

no reason to buy the P5B Deluxe unless u want the extra PCI slot.
Other than that the DQ6 would just as good or better than it.
Although bios support has been kinda weak it shouldn't affect u too much.

Thanks for the reply. Nope don't need the extra pci slot. Correct about the bios, but the latest version appears to have fixed alot of issues that some overclockers had.

I was reading a review about this board recently.

Everything sounded good, until they brought up the "crazy cool" cooler on the back of the motherboard. Apparently it is very, very difficult to remove (and not meant to be removed in the first place). This sounds like it would prevent me from using my Tuniq Tower.

Any thoughts?
