Why no forum icon?

I often have several tabs open browsing a number of different forums that run vBulletin 3, with many of them still using the default icon, so there's no way to easily identify them in the tabs. Makes no sense.

Just copy favicon.ico from the root folder of www.anandtech.com to the root folder of the AnandTech forums site.

favicon.ico

I have no idea how difficult this would or would not be, but it isn't anything the moderation team has anything to do with.

I thought this forum was about Technical issues, not Moderation issues.

Does the moderation team not know who could accomplish this? (Has this become General Motors, all of a sudden? How many levels of bureaucracy are there at AnandTech?)

Please. Do. Hasn't happened over the past 11 months since the suggestion was originally made.

This isn't a big issue, obviously. But it's a head-scratcher, for sure.

I always have favicons disabled because most of them trigger my firewall.. It says "SUSPICIOUS SIZE" I know I can add an exception but I dont wanna bother....

Its VERY INTERESTING.. IE6 also reads these favicons!! (On IE6 I cannot disable the showing of them but on MyIE2 I can thankfully or I would have to definetly add an exception no doubt)
