Why no FireWire memory keys?

There must be a dozen different manufacturers of USB "memory keys" (I like Disk-On-Key, but that's another story) but I've never seen a FireWire version of this type of device. Why not? It would seem that the much higher bandwidth of FireWire -vs- USB would make the former a much better interface for a "memory key" device...

Flash memory can only move data so fast and my guess is that moving to firewire would bring negligable benifits and a much higher cost.

Another reason could be that firewire isn't as common as USB, and that's the whole point of those devices.
