Why no dual P4 motherboards?

How come there arent any dual P4 motherboards (non xeon!) on the market? I certainly cant seem to find any. Is this due to some technical reason or is it more marketing/business related not to make one?

Are there any ever planned? I would loooooove a dual P4 box with HT.

Any info is appreciated.

Elitegroup (ECS) make a dual p4 motherboard, but I see no reason to have a dual p4 setup when all recent p4's have Hyper-Threading enabled...

That'll be a good trick, considering P4's are SMP locked, so they won't run in a dual CPU situation.

Now you of all people should of seen the dual p4 motherboard sold in millennium, dodgy company tho, must admit, so it was probably re-labeled by them

Intel markets Xeons (which are almost the same as P4s) but they have SMP support enabled.

For the benefit of those wondering what "SMP" means, it is - Symmetric(al) Multi - Processing.

Yeah, I know that. But as they are Xeons and not P4, it's a different beast
