Greetings.

Any reason why Anandtech hasn´t published any reviews on these CPUs? They just mention them in the Athlon 2 x2 and Phenom 2 x2 article.

Just curious becasue i think some retailers already have them available. The 705e and 905e are available at Amazon and tiger direct, for example.

They probably haven't been reviewed because they really aren't anything new and not too many people are seeking a review. They're just a downclocked more energy efficient version of current chips, performance shoulnd't have changed any. If your looking for performance figures, they'll be just slightly slower than the 710 or 910 which are both clocked at 2.6Ghz.

Thanks for the reply Lone. I was curious because wanted to know if this would work on MSI K9A2GM 7501 Ver 1.0 MotherBoard withouth the need to flash the BIOS.

At the site it says it does support it, some helpful fellows at the forum said i'll probably need to flash. But the processor im using works withouth the sugested BIOS version. SO who Knows?

Use CPU-Z to determine the date of the BIOS you are using. Then go to the manufacturers website for your board and peruse the BIOS listing there- have a look for your BIOS (by date usually the best way) and then see if there are any more recent BIOS available and if so, have a look at the changelog to see if support for these CPUs has been included.
