Uhh, the xbox had one of the shortest lifespans of any console - 2001(xbox) 2005(x360). Thats only 4 years. Even the GC had 5 years before the release of the Wii.
lol those guys waiting to play a wii are stupid! I would have spent my time exploring as much as possible...with a line that long it makes more sense for the damned wii to come out and just play it then...I would be running around looking and taking pictures and getting as much free posters, stickers, and paraphanelia as possible!

oh wait, there isnt one. and i get get that game and a wii for half the cost of a 60GB ps3.

A device you can install Linux on, use an emulator, play back videos, and has a slew of applications. Man, I wish I could find a device like that. Oh, wait.. I'm using it right now.

Zelda on Wii sucks ... a person who has played it on the Wii... The controls are the worst i have i seen , it almost feel like an after thought and you can check most of editor preview that complain about the Zelda Wii control.

From what I seen in some videos it seems hard to aim with the bow. At least everyone I seen playing it had some issues. Looked like the settings was to sensitive. But I honestly think it will take some getting use to but once you do it will be ok. If you just pick the controls up and try it for 10 mins one probably won't like it much.

LOL...that is pretty funny but it is rather meaningless.
Without knowing what was going on in the booths at the time, if the videos were shot on the same day and time, how fast they are moving people through and how many people each booth holds you can't really say much about what the different line lengths mean regarding peoples interest.

He's basically saying that you are saying that Xbox360 is going to be the top dog and that Nintendo or Sony is duking it out to be underneath the 360, which is such a such a wacky assumption since the 360 hasn't been *confirmed* that it is the top dog. i donno man. personally i think there will be no runaway winner this gen and well be seeing a 40/30/30 (very rough) split probably favoring sony. everything depends on *next* (2007) christmas and the lineup of games that come out then along with the ps3's price point then.
you have to remember that a runaway winner didnt emerge until ps2 dropped to 200 bucks and the games were there to back it up. we really have to sit back and see what the publishers show next year before we can start calling winners.

All I know is, on Wii preorder day a few weeks ago, I drove by two Gamestop locations at 4AM trying to get in line. One store had 15 people there at 4:00
Another had only 9 people. When I got in line, I was told by everyone in line that the store was only getting 9 preorders. They had called and spoken with the manager the night before. Apparently people had been coming by the line and leaving all night just like me
The Wii will sellout, even if they launch with 2 million units. There is enormous buzz around this system. Nintendo is BACK folks!
