Why is it that Nigeria is the base for the most recent scams? IIRC, it was Russia not too long before Nigeria that was causing trouble. Is Nigeria not part of the UN or are they exempt from US Customs busting their asses ?

Because nigeria has a huge population and actualy has internet access, but most people there are still poor. hence the scams.

Most of them aren't actually from Nigeria they're just called that after their penal code, ie 419, where it is illegal under nigerian law to request an advance fee before collecting a prize, or something like that
 
What scams? You're just like EVERYONE else! I'm going to get PAID YO! You'll see....then I'll be the one laughing. They're going to give me $849,013,489,330 US and all I have to do is fly over there to sign the papers.
