Why Newegg? Why did you do this to me?

I was screwed over today by Newegg's shipping. I live in San Diego, California and orders have always been promptly delivered to me the next day since their warehouse is so close. I just ordered 1GB of Corsair RAM from them Sunday and found out today that my ordered shipped from New Jersey! What the heck!

Now it'd take at least an extra day to get here. Was my ordered accidently routed to New Jersey? Or was it that they ran out of stock in CA and had to ship from New Jersey. If it was a mistake then I'd be totally pissed. I have always been a loyal customer of Newegg. Every hardware I owned I purchased from them since 2000. This is no way to treat a loyal customer. Has anybody else had this problem?

Newegg has warehouses in NJ now. Its not a mistake, they probably just didn't have stock in the CA warehouse and decided to ship from NJ instead. You'll get your package within 3 business days. I don't see what the problem is or how newegg is screwing you over. Would you have rather them waited for it to come back in stock in their CA warehouse? You'd probably be waiting a week or more instead of 3 days. Patience is a virtue you know ;)

<~~just ordered from newegg, order shipped out of NJ today. If I get it within a week I will be happy (I usually get orders from newegg 2 days after they ship)

Chill,maybe no stock close to you sooo..they use the next warehouse with your item.you know you'll get it..be cool :cool:

um they promise shipping within a certain amount of time. Unless you paid for next day shipping, stop your bitching

Us east coasters have dealt with their CA shipping for the longest time. FedEx Express is still good cross country. Glad to see an east coast plant myself. I get 1-2 day delivery when shipped from Jersey :)

Thanks for the constructive response. Just venting my frustration. No need to flame, man. This is not a big deal. In case you don't have the intellectual fortitude to figure out from the title of the post, I was being very sarcastic. I have always enjoyed Newegg's service and speedy delivery. I was just trying to determine if this was a mistake.

Yes an entire extra day in a time when I need my computer. I sold my old RAM on ebay and had to ship them today. I was hoping to get it tomorrow so I can use my computer to work on my paper. So an extra day delay would be bad if you have a deadline in my case. I should mention that earlier in the post as to why I am so impatient. Oh well, whatever.
