Why Newegg Rocks so Much!!!

Ok, so I was at newegg the other day and i bought a few things, mainly a 200gb external HDD thing. The total was around $200 and i psid them thru paypal. I assumed it was all good, and i went about my life. In 2 days, i checked newegg and it said my order was still awaiting payment. I called them and they seemed to think it was a paypal issue waiting to be processed. I called paypal and they told me it was paid and gave me a long number to tell newegg which i did. Newegg then promptly apoligized and offered overnight shipping to make up for it, I glady accepted. BUT!!! Today in my email i got a notice saying newegg has refunded my paypal account with $250 for the inconvience!!! That is totally amazing, and I love newegg now!!! I hope they are this good to all their customers!
 
Ummm right. They shipped you the products overnight, which i can believe.... but you're telling me they REFUNDED you $250 as well? riiiight
 
i bought more than just a hard drive, just that was the biggest thing. And i promise you I do not lie, this is what they gave me, and I promise you I will spend that money back at their site, which is what their intentions were im sure
 
dude thats awesome. Gotta love Newegg. Iv never had a problem with em and I just feel so glad and happy when I order from them😀

i didn't even know they accept paypal. But wow, free 200GB

Ive bought stuff from them before, and had to RMA it, but was charged a 15% restock fee, I called and only mentioned it, and it was waived... no questions asked
 
i bought an IDE cable from newegg, and they refunded me $480. I swear it's the truth!

whatever dudes, I wouldnt wast my time telling you this if it wasnt true, I have always respected newegg, and was just showing it here
 
That would be a horrible mistake on their part to refund you $250 for a small order (under $1000 i assume).

Neweggs customer service is gold, but they are in it to make money, not be your best friend.

Side note: does newegg even take paypal?

It Appears so. But this does sound like total BS. No Customer Service rep would do that.
 
I mean, it possibly was a mistake with the billing, but should I really call them to ask? Ive done that many times before to be a good guy, only to have it all taken away?

I thought you said they sent you an email saying they were refunding you for the "inconvience!!!"

So now you think its a mistake? Yeah ok. Lets not backtrack now shall we?
