I can't wait to get out of this freaking state.
Here's two stories of why New Jersey sucks
A) I went to a concert. The band had not played their #1 hit yet, but said "Good night everyone!". While the lights stayed black, 60% of the people at the concert tripped over one another to leave because they thought the concert was over. When the band came back on for their "encore", half the crowd had left thinking the concert was over. DUMB.
B) The Parkway has 6 lanes between exit 100 and exit ~127. Three are express, Three are local. Yesterday, New Jersey decided to do construction on 2 of the express lanes. But instead of closing off the express side entirely, they decided to just keep one lane open, DURING rush hour, WITHOUT any prior notice before the split. So 60% of the traffic was going into the express lanes, without any advance warning that there was construction ahead, during rush hour, when they could have just taken the local lanes, which weren't busy at all.
