I was having lunch at Carl's Jr. A group of 3 who ordered before me asked for cups so they can get water. Well instead of getting water they all got soda instead and this wasn't just once. The manager notices this and goes over to tell them that the cups they asked for are for water only. I can hear them saying, "WTF is her problem?", "It's only soda." as the manager walked away. When they left they all filled up on soda again. I overheard one of them say, "She betta not come ova hea cause she bouta get slapped." as they walked by.

Manager warned them and if they don't pay for the soda, I'd personally have them arrested for theft the moment they stepped off the premises and have a restraining order placed on each of them if I was the manager.

I have indeed seen your picture. They'll make it violent for you. I have plenty of experience with "mad thugs" like this, they have no problem carrying it to the next level, especially if they are pretty sure they can handle you.

Yes I would. My arms are too skinny to deal with them. The manager can go as far as she thinks is necessary, but in her mind it was probably easier to just let a couple punks get away with free soda than to cause a scene and potentially deal with the cops.

So what would you do about it? It's unbelievable how many people are talking so big behind a computer. Reality is, you would be an idiot if you get involved in this scenario. First of all, the manager is aware of the problem. If anything, employees of Carl's Jr. should do something, not some wanna-be-cop customer. In perspective of legal issues as well as safety, being uninvolved is the prudent choice. What if these guys pull out a gun and shoot you?
