Why isn't windows seeing my second hard drive?

right click "my computer" > manage > storage > disk management

this area will let you see more about your storage options. is this a new hard drive that you cant get to work? youll have to initialize it (iirc) and format it to get it to show up. youll have to do something similar if its a pull from another box. some more details might help if you cant get it to work after poking around there.
 
Thanks for the help. I think that was enough of a memory jogger to help me out. I'll go mess around some and see what works. I'm using Win 7 64bit by the way.
