Why isn't this file showing up in my folder in Vista?

I've got a couple of directories that show no folder.jpg in them. When I try to drag a folder.jpg to them, it asks me if I want to overwrite the existing one.

Where is the existing one???

I've turned on "show hidden files" and I've even done a dir from the cmd line and I don't see a folder.jpg in there anywhere.

What's going on?
