The photo app is pretty barebones but it does let you view flikr and facebook photos but why not google's own picasa?
i'm on 2.1, i guess that's why. i didn't know that the newer versions of android had picasa integration in the photo app.
it would be nice if it synced automatically though

Tangentially related in that google doesn't seem to fully get how to relate all of their separate technologies, why isn't the browser called 'Chrome'? Or 'Mobile Chrome'?

Nope, 2.1 had it as well.

i agree in most areas they could do a much better job of integration though

I have Sense which has HTC's gallery which apparently doesn't do anything with Picasa, I downloaded Gallery 3d from the market because a review on XDA said it integrated with Picasa. But it doesn't for me.
