Why isn't there a forum that can handle long words?

Every forum I've ever been to seems to choke on really long words or urls. I can't stand horizontal scroll bars, so I usually just hit the back button and continue on my way. Surely someone could have fixed this behavior by now.

It's not that the forum can't handle it. It's that the forum wasn't designed with an option in mind for FREAKING IDIOTS to type SO MUCH without a single space that it has to run off screen.
