there are alot of posts that should be deleted and people reported but theres no quick way of doing that. how come?

who made you judge jury and executioner?
What is unacceptable to you might be perfectly acceptable to others...
define inappropriate in a way that everyone can agree with your definition...

Do you really think this is going to happen with all the other requests that are on the list?

Programming forum, search fix, etc.

Wake up.

Scratch nuts(or whatever).

Discover 11ty billion tards have hit the 'report to moderator' button that night, of which 99.99999997% is trivial crap.

Ask site admin to create a button that 'bans everyone who hits the 'report to moderator' button.'

Press said button.

Profit!

Whoa there.

When did he appoint himself as the executioner and where did he even state that his definition of what is inappropriate should be the law of the land?

The OP simply stated that there are inappropriate posts and there needs to be a more user friendly way to report these posts. He's not asking for his opinion to be instilled into the rules of Anandtech, he's asking for anyone's voice to count for Judge Mod to interpret.

How you can derive all that from the OP, I can never see, but more power to you. Or shall I say more anger to you.

Oh and sorry OP, not gonna happen.

After a while you learn to just ignore his posts.

Such would be and advantage of having an Aussie Mod. No need to worry about waking up to a flood of such messages. The Aussie Mod could handle them while the rest of the Mod crew is getting a restful sleep.

The only problem that I could see, is that the Aussie Mod would have to be someone that has integrity and uses common sense. The Mods can ill afford to have the Aussie Mod alter ego get banned.😛

Winner.

Sending a PM to Anandtech Moderator with a link to the thread is the best option to report a thread or a post. I believe there is a "Report to Mod" feature in the forum software, but for some reason they don't have that feature enabled.

theres always a few who cnt handle change. go figure you ask a ? and its like bees think your stealing their honey

anyone that *misuses* it get a vacation at other [modern] forums 😛

it is an excellent idea but i think it needs to wait for other things ... like search to be fixed .. a way to reliably update system rig. 😉
