Why Isn't Subscribe Working??

When I select the Subscribe graphic at the top of every thread to subscribe, I never receive the e-mail notifications letting me know that someone has responded to the thread.

Why??

Do you follow through with the second subscribe feature in which you must click subscribe a second time? Are your subscriptions set to email or PM?

The answer to both these questions is Yes and it's set to e-mail of which I receive from other threads, but for one thread in particular, it doesn't send me notifications.

I've looked at my profile and it shows it as being subscribed so I'm not sure what's going on.

I think all subscriber accounts are going away once everyones subscription has run out.
I believe mine must have just run out.
The trouble, even though I am bookmarked to the regular forums, my browser keeps sending me to the subscriber page where it tells me I am not a subscriber.
So, I suppose some sort of cookie is doing this.
Which one? And, how do I delete it?

He's not talking about the subscriber server, he's talking about subscribing to individual threads and being notified when there's a post made to them.

And when my subscription ran out I just deleted all my cookies to get it to work.
