I saw the first three episodes (well 4-6) in a DVD box set at Wal-Mart a couple days ago for $40 I believe it was.

Maybe he'll change his mind on the Raiders Box because the fourth Raiders installment is slated for release in 2005. Harrison Ford will still play Indiana.

Respectfully, you didn't. It must have been VHS, because none of those films has ever been released on DVD. There are overseas bootlegs, but I can't imagine Wal-Mart selling them under any circumstances.

Sorry, only Sean Connery can get away with being old and still an action hero. 😉

Well, if George Lucas doesn't need the money, then he should have at least released it to keep his fans happy.
Plus, having all those DVDs out there, and having people watch them keeps interest in Star Wars alive.
My brother whose 14 has never seen the original Star Wars movies. I was going to get him the Trilogy on DVD for his birthday, but I learned that they don't exist! I'd rather he see the films for the first time on good quality DVD's, rather than crap video tapes.
George Lucas is running the franchise into the ground. There's an entire generation of DVD watchers who will have missed out on the movies by the time they come out in 2006 or whatever. Plus, as time goes by movies become more and more dated.
