Why isn't Obama doing rallies? Does he need to go negative like McCain did?

A typical town hall meeting is 2-3K people. That is not enough unless you do like 10 of them in a day. What he needs to do is do massive rallies like in the primaries. 20K people, 30, 70K... for every large rallie that's at least few points in the state polls....
Town hall meetings are useful for local elections. And in my opinion, if you are doing town hall meetings, you have to spend entire week campaigning in one state. Lets say 2 town halls a day, 7 days.., 14 meetings, about 30-35K people. thats why, rallies...work, not town halls.

Obama is good at energizing people, screaming yelling, whatever it takes, I don't care...

That is my take...

In addition, I think it's time Obama gets super negative... and destroys McCain image...

Obama... screaming? sure, what the hell. might break the image of him as a vulcan.

ever think the entire race boils down to Kirk vs Spock? (though please don't analyze that too much, I've watched like 2 episodes of star trek ever, I'm just vaguely aware of the archetypes)

edit: remembered the word I was looking for

I think you're missing the point of a "town hall" meeting, it's supposed to be interactive, not like at a giant rally where you have 50k people at a stadium waiting for the Obamessiah to bless them with his hope and change.

The 50K people at that rally are likely already voters for that candidate. In a town hall you would answer questions from the people so the people get a better chance to see what they think of you.

As for Obama getting super negative and "destroying" McCain's image: if he tries that, he's toast. What Obama has going for him right now is that he's "different", he represents a change from the same old same old. If the people want the same old same old, they can elect McCain and be done with it. Slinging mud does not help Obama, unless it's very very tactfully done.

Vulcans never scream, they are very soft spoken and calm people. You are probably refering to the Klingons

You know for an FNG you sure do know how to disseminate false info, it's almost PJ-esque. I think you should just come out and admit you are part of the McCain campaign.

Your post is devoid of reason and is just your worthless opinion, as meaningless as me telling you it's your kool-aid speaking.

Nobody's paying attention to politics right now, save for self-important political bloggers and Internet forum types. Why waste money?
