why isn't internet TV working for me in media center under vista?

I am having problem playing internet video inside the vista media center. Internet video plays fine in media player 11 but not in media center. In particular when I click on the video the screen flashes once and I am back at the selection screen - no video, no sound, nothing.

any idea what's wrong? codec issue?
