Keyboard wise, I am more use to the original layout of it. To type and game on something that is "ergonomic" may not be so for me.

Mouse wise, some models can't be because they tout the both left and right hands. If they made a specifically left hand mouse, people could buy it but I don't think there will be too many though.

And as for other devices, ergonomics does come into play in the design of average use items. It may be subtle or it may not seem that way for some people.

I have been using ergonomic keyboards for about 5 years now, and it is completely natural. I can't type on the normal style ones anymore though. It is way too awkward. Believe me if you try it for a couple days, you won't want to go back.

Well then yeah... all my keyboards are ergonomics, and i'm using a Herman Miller Aeron chair... so i would guess that's ergonomic. Are LCDs consider ergonomic? I prefer them over CRT monitor for regular usage... only use my CRT for games.

computer related equipment, mostly. it doesn't take a genius to see how your hands extend from your wrists, the way a traditional keyboard is layed out contorts hands and wrists in unnatural positions. everyone (and i do mean everyone) that i've ever met that gave themselves a few weeks to get used to the layout of an ergo keyboard likes it more than a regular one. but also mice, chairs, desks... things should be designed around the human body.

Well, that's the thing... once you start feeling pain, that means damage has already been done. I use to get serious shoulder, neck, and back pain from my cheap office chair. But ever since i got the Aeron, all those pain went away.

I love my MS Natural keyboards. It took about a month to get fully used to it. But now I type faster than I did on a regular keyboard...it's much more forgiving to my typing style (I use only my index, middle and sometime my ring finger).
