Why isn't Destiny on PC?

I always thought that was a weird thing. It isn't exclusive to just one platform and it feel like a game that would be on PC like Titan fall was which was a game I thought would be less likely on PC.

I know that PC user have Warframe (so do console gamer) but Warframe is inferior to Destiny and I don't know why people compare them but Destiny is nothing like Warframe. Destiny is more open and you don't spend most of your time in ship and my gosh it not even the same type of game. The comparison between the two is so far off.

While I have Destiny on PS4, I think it would be absolutely stunning to play it on a 21:9 1440p monitor. I don't want this to become another Red Dead Redemption.

I'd play it if it was on PC. Looks interesting.

I have around 650 hours in Warframe and if it wasn't for my friend, I would quit after the first few hours. Nonetheless it still a very lonely game compare to Destiny where interaction with other players is a daily thing.

A PC version of Destiny has probably at least been considered as far back as E3 2014 according to that article.

From it, third paragraph: " Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, told Polygon during E3 2014 — three months before Destiny launched — that a PC version of the game was "something we're talking about and looking at very carefully." Earlier that year, Bungie writer Eric Osborne said, "We have a lot of people who play on PCs. We have a lot of appetite to build that experience. "

At this point in time if we don't have a PC version it's probably because they merely decided not to do it (internally, without saying it publicly). That, or they'll just port Destiny 2 instead. Time will tell. I for one never played Destiny and have no interest to for now. I would definitely have to give it a try first, I'd need a demo or some sort of early open Beta access at the very least.

So is there any reason why it not on PC, I know it has nothing to do with hardware limitation ()🙂

Since they've decided to pretty much halt further work on the current game to release an entire engine upgrade, wouldn't be surprised if they also use that time to add PC to the release schedule. After all, with xb1 being closer than ever to a pc in the software, no reason not to.

The game is a bore and repetitive. I played it for a week and was underwhelmed on nearly every level. It's just grind grind grind with boring environments and a pointless MP system. Nothing new to see there it did not live up to the hype in any manner. That being said, plenty of people play it, though I can't imagine why but many that do still complain about it all the time..so I don't get it.

you could just get an adapter

Have considered it. What I read though is it's better than a controller, but not the same as a real pc mouse input. And every game is different too. Have to dick around with profiles, and some games it just doesn't work well with period. Plus I use extremely low sensitivity, seemed like in order for it to work decently you need high sens. For the handful of FPS exclusives, it isn't worth the hassle or money to me.

That the same with Warframes (if you have play it?) and i put over 650 hours in it.

What the hell is your obsession with talking about warframes all the damn time. This is a thread about Destiny, not some **REMOVED** warframes game you have a vested interest in. No one cares how many hours you've played it or how much you've spent on it.

Sheesh

Simmer down there friend. Also, no cursing.

I'm the thread starter mate lol. I'm just saying that if a game as grindy and repetitive as Warframe can net that many hours, then Destiny should at least give me about 2000 plus hours of gaming:thumbsup: And Warframes is in the past now mate, it was alright back then. I was praising Destiny...

Why do you flip back and forth between writing normal and writing with a fake asian english second language style when someone actually calls you out? "I'm tire of this"...

I'm not doing it on purpose but the fact you noticed it is very intriguing and makes me feel good:sneaky:

The truth is I'm not consistent in my writing. When you see me write proper, it cause I'm not writing with emotion. If I write with emotion, it sound like a fake Asian English language as you put it and more often then not I am very passionate about what I write.

I am also verse in 3 different languages so my English cannot be perfect unless I'm writing or doing a project for school which is all in the past now.

Hope that explain everything.

He is a troll and he tends to forget once in a while. Just ignore.

By the way, I thought people hated Destiny. Reviews, gameplays etc suggest a very generic grind of a game without much to do. Did I miss something here? If it's a good enough FPS, I'd like to have it on PC.

I'm not a troll, how many times do I have to say that?🙁 Bad English and a matter of opinion does not make one a troll. I don't know what make a troll but troll are usually mean and I'm not mean.

As for Destiny, it does get repetitive but hopefully it pick up. I'm only level 7 but am having some fun with the multiplayer. Right now I'm playing it for the upgrade loot aka similar to Diablo 3. I'm a sucker for customization. I do wish you could play in third person though and not just when your out of combat.
