Not only is he a rich bankster but he used to be in Congress. We still haven't started indicting the banksters that committed untold amounts of fraud that helped cause the "Great Recession" so why would you expect them to bring out the handcuffs for the latest bankster to commit crimes?
Not to mention the fact that he has powerful friends in high places.

None apparently just like it is legal to rob an entire house in Oklahoma.

Dave, you're a hoot.

I've heard lawyers discussing this several times. There's a fairly long list of violations. For it's still criminal to not segregate client funds, for another IIRC there are accusations that MF lied to regulators. I think there are more, but recall atm.

I think Corzine has a fair chance to join Bernie in fed prison down in here in NC.

Also, IMO, a fair chance he goes from top 1% to bottom 1% if they don't find that missing money.

Theft of customer assets in a segregated account is not legal.

If you had cash in a safe deposit box and a bank employee opens your box, takes your cash and spends it day trading and ends up blowing the money that is the equivalent of what occurred with MF global.

thats just nuts. if i steal a candy bar because i am broke and hungry i go to jail. this asshat loses over a BILLION bucks of his customers money and has no idea where it is and he still gets to eat his steak and dom.

shit like this is why our country is fucked.

Candy bar thieves don't have lobbyists, big bankers do. And so you get this. It's infuriating.

It's the nature of our having such concentrated money.

The Walton kids' inheritance was equal to the wealth of the bottom 30% of America.

And oh by the way, they spend large amounts of that money on the lobbyists for their interests.

I'd say there are 30% of Americans that probably don't do shit, live off the Waltons tax money. The Waltons also pay federal tax something 42% of Americans do not. Not sticking up for the waltons but keeping it real.
