why is WMP > itunes?

specifically at finding album art.

I'm loading up my music onto the new ipod I got for christmas, but I swore to myself that I'm not going to let this ipod get as unorganized and unwieldy as my last one... so I'm adding music carefully and updating the file info to make sure it's all correct and adding the album art... but why is it that itunes has no album art for anything even though WMP has it all for the same mp3 files? do I really have to google/save/manually add the album art for every single album I add?

when I use itunes to try out some songs and it llacks artwork..I am suprised itunes finds artwork for me. I dont know about WMP 11 to work with iphone..I love WMP 11 just for watching movies.

itunes likes to keep things separate. coverflow gets its own database of files. album art probalby limited to whats sold on itunes. dunno what wmp does i don't use it, but i generally embed art into my mp3s to keep it simple.

Itunes doesn't automatically embed the art into the mp3, it saves it in a seperate space in your library. If you want to embed it, you have to right click the artwork and copy it into the song...really annoying

WMP uses embedded artwork too.
