hi guys,
This is a " seek for help" and complain message about windows networking.
My friends in my house share a broadband connection using a D-Link router. There are 8 computers in my house and all of them can connect to the internet.
The problem is when we are setting up a network using windows networking.
6 of these computers can be connected to the network successfully, sharing files and all. The other 2 don't seem to be able to connect to the same network although it is set up the same way with the same workgroup name.
The other computers can see the 2 problem comps, but can't access its files. The problem comps can't see a thing.
Another question is why does windows always want to set up a bridge when I let it automatically configure ? Can't that darn "Bill Gates money making thing" know that I am already sharing a connection ? It seems to me Windows can't handle router shared connections.
Anybody have a way for me to solve this problem ?
