You can still get 2.81 Lite. That's what I use, don't need anything more. Only the 3.x versions can be considered bloatware.

I am going to continue using 2.81. I was not impressed with the 3.x versions.

I love just clicking on an mp3 file, and having it play right away, and that's what Winamp was good for. But I hate waiting for a song to play, on such a small file especially with the 3.x versions.

I have 2.6lite and 2.64lite if you want it. Almost 600 kb each. Zip me a PM if you do.

Just tried it.... how can you like it?

It has no volume control.

It is too big (winamp minimizes nicely and can be placed "always on top" at the top of your screen).

It has no easy way to go forward/back to different songs.

I'm still using 2.81, the only thing I liked about winamp 3 is the skins but the bloat was too much.

Call me stupid, but when did AOL buy out WinAmp?

And what the heck is the deal with AOL buying up everyone. Geez. They're as bad as Microsoft. Buy it up or steal it then turn it to ****!
