i dont see it as much of a worse thing, i know plenty of people who have died of lung cancer, but those are caused by cigs

waiting for responses

and for the people who say 'i dont need drugs to complete my life / im not a loser' that same stuff can be said for just about anything... caffine, beer, cigs, hell even being part of the forums.... (if you DO have more than 5 posts a day you seriously are a loser, god go get some sunlight or something.)

😀

no but really im looking for a good response

The jail time mostly . That and the 1000's of $$ you will give a sleeze lawyer to let you retrieve your freedom . Other than that its fine . Go for it .

People don't kill other people to have enough money to buy alcohol.
So you know that people murder for enough money to buy weed? Those wouldn't be stoners.

her209, people kill others for crack money, not pot.

its just a really strong cig.

and MX2times brings up an important point, battered wives always talk about alchohol abusing husbands.

1) Alcohol has been part of our society dating far back in time, therefore society must have it.

2) You can drink alcohol recreationally and not get drunk. When you smoke pot, you are smoking it to get high.

lol, I'm hoping you don't really believe someone would kill another person for weed money.

Marijuana is only worse than alcohol because:

1. It's illegal, so there are legal consequences to using/selling it.
2. When you smoke it, there are health effects similar to those from inhaling tobacco smoke.

From alcohol, people die all the time as a result of things like binge drinking (alcohol poisoning) and long-term liver disease. In addition, there are the long-term social effects from alcoholism where both the person with it and those around him or her are effected. There is also the toll from drunk driving (which also affects innocent people). There are also many incidents where people who drink get abusive, both physically and emotionally.

From marijuana, you either smoke it or ingest it, and you feel good and eventually go to sleep.

Alcohol is FAR WORSE a drug. Most or all of the negative aspects of marijuana stem from the fact that it's illegal, not from the drug itself.

1.) Based on this logic, marijuana should never have been prohibited in the 1930's since it's use dates back thousands of years in human history and therefore we must have it.

2.) You are in denial if you think people drink alcohol just because their thirsty. Even people who only drink small amonts do it for the slight buzz, otherwise we would expect non-alcoholic beers/drinks to be far more polpuar.

1. Prohibition has told us that just about everybody demands the right to have alcohol, but making marijuana illegal was not as big of a deal. I guess thats what I'm trying to say.

2. Im saying that how many people do you know who take a few tokes of pot. When they do pot they intend to get high. Plenty of people will go out to eat and have a few beers or a few glasses of wine, which is not enough to make you completely drunk.
