Why is trillian telling me I have AOL mail?

It just started for the first time in like 4 years.

Same here - I dont use AOL mail - must be some kinda AOL crap / nonsense.

In advanced settings of your account you can turn email notification off.

Bah! Took me forever to find.

Go to Preferences, Identities & Connections, click on your AIM account, click Change, go to Miscellaneous tab, uncheck Alert me when new mail arrives for this account
