LOL, I just bought XP Home OEM for my new build & was wonderingw hy it came with a cable Y power splitter for free - now I know 🙂

On a side note, are there any differences betweeen OEM & retail when initially installing? This is my first time using OEM and I want to be prepared for any suprises...

If you place the order without hardware they will add a molex splitter cable for $5, and then discount it $5 🙂. It's half the cost of a retail box version, but bear in mind there are some additional licensing restrictions.
