because AFAIK, Xtera is a no-name company, and the product (while it may get the job done) is probably a POS.

802.11b laptop cards have significantly dropped in price recently.

USD $19 - $29 after coupon/rebate is pretty normal these days, as most people are upgrading to 802.11g

But this is a PCI card. Most PCMCIA 802.11b cards are in the 30-40CDN, but most PCIs have been 50-60. If this is the decline, that's good sign then. Thanks.

Comes with a 30 day return... so if the quality isn't that good, I'll return it.
