Is it the same with all carriers?
1. T-Mobile only recently finally allowed for overseas calls to be blocked but they still don't let you block calls to Canada/Mexico.
2. They don't let you block text messages and charge you 10 cents per spam message, whether you read it or not.
3. Most disturbingly, they don't let you block premium services so anyone can "download" using your cell phone a premium service from any place with a premium charge showing up on your cell phone bill and the cell phone company saying "this charge has nothing to do with us, take it up with the web site that sent the service to your phone..."
I haven't seen anyone complaining about this, what's the procedure to do something about it, are there consumer advocacy groups, do you call your congress-person or what?
This is as risky as us walking around with hundreds and hundreds of dollars in cash all the time, isn't it? Someone gets a hold of your cell phone and you're screwed.
