I was stating that the Italian-American in the story was obviously not integrated. You claimed that he was solely because of his ancestors. You don't consider integration to be based upon an individual.

I simply stated in that thread that it's an example of how our society has advanced to the point where a minority can receive justice even though he seriously wounded one of the majority. I was talking of sociological change. When you realized that the defendant was of a minority group, you became overtly angry.
