Chinese is a lot healthier than pizza and wings.

Er, I order loads of healthy food. Ok, they're not mostly healthy but I order rotisserie chicken, humus, pasta, salads (caesar mostly), pad thai, etc. Occasionally, I'll have some pizza :D

Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is, there are probably a couple of restaurants in your area that deliver "healthy" food. Most of the time, it costs as much as a large pizza.

My sistahs and I recently bought some frozen salmon from Costco. I cooked them in the microwave this weekend and it wasn't too bad. Defrost, rub salt and pepper, cook for 2 minutes, turn over, cook another 2 minutes FTW! :) Just thought I'd share that.

Chinese food is healthy if you order the right stuff... most delivery food caters to the same market as Burger King though & the healthy things just don't sell that well.

Cook your own food. It doesn't cost as much as delivery or fast food or restaurants, can potentially taste better, and be better for you, and if you cook a lot at a time(think, casseroles) you will have food that will last a while.

Nothing. Your 4 basic food groups are meat, dairy, veggies and grains.

meat: sausage and pepperoni
dairy: cheese
veggies: tomato sauce, onions and peppers
grains: crust

A large pizza with sausage, pepperoni, peppers, onions and extra cheese is the perfect food.

Pizza and Chinese aren't all bad, it just depends on the toppings chosen, or what is ordered, if Chinese. BBQ Pork and egg rolls...yah, probably not good. Stir Fry type stuff is probably good for you. Veggie Pizza, anyone?

we really need a pitapit in the burbs here.. there's one downtown by the university but I'm sure they wouldn't deliver out here.

subway will, though.. that's probably as close to healthy as we can get brought to the door.

Hey RaDragon, if you like your salmon nuked, you have to try it sometime on a George Foreman grill. Takes maybe a total of 10 minutes (maybe less), and comes out perfectly!! :)

The only downside I've found to doing it with mine is I have one of the older models, where the grilling plates don't come off for washing, and whatever I cook the next time on the GFgrill tends to smell a bit fishy!! LOL

Try it sometime.....you'll love it! And if you have a BBQ, try wrapping up the salmon in aluminum foil and grilling it! :D
