Why is the x-fi XtremeMusic OOS in all major e-tailers?

I was going to ask the same question. Has this card been discontinued? Has it been replaced by xtreme gammer or simply renamed ?

From the website it looks like it is discontinued in usa but still sold in europe.

i think the xtreme gamer replaced it, judging by the looks of the card and how small it is compared to the xtreme music it's probably cheaper for creative to make
 
On a side note, how well do the x-fi's work in vista? are there still problems? cause I remember that there used to be alot of complaints.
