Why is the word b!tch tolerated but not others?

For me the word b!tch is very demaining to woman, yet its ok to use here. Where'as more other words like s--t and f--k are not, why is this?
 
Why is it acceptable for black people to call each other "awesome people" and it's taboo for white people to even use the word? Sometimes it just don't make sense. 🙂

Though sometimes such words do add spice to the discussion, this is considered obscene language, after all.
 
I'm a farmboy. Around here the word bitch means nothing. If we want to be inflammatory we use something like "cum belching road whore".

Not near as colorful as the barhags face was after being called that by some broad in the local saloon.
