Why is the WI-Fi on my Mac Moronic?

What type of security encryption are you using on the Wifi? Is the new password long enough to work for that type of security?

Do you have another device you can test that network on, such as a phone or tablet?

Do you have a Starbucks, McDonalds, or library nearby where you can try hooking up to free Wifi to see if the wireless card is flakey or not?
