indeed. I love when sunsets create that kind of sky. Something I rarely see here in NW Ohio. 🙁 Especially in winter. Gray skies at night are such a downer - no wonder those of northern latitudes are so susceptible to SAD (seasonal affective disorder, aka winter blues with a fancy name).
