Because theyre already making a million each per episode, and the producers cant afford to pay them even more (which is what they want for another year).

bwhahahahahahaha.
that show jumped the shark about 4 years ago. They've run out of permutations of who is sleeping with whom. And NBC isn't willing to pay millions per episode any more when they've got a show like Scrubs now.
 
They should replace the characters with new actors, it worked for Doctor Who

It's one of the most watched sitcoms on TV even after 10 years, but ATOT will tell you it sucks and it's stupid....who you going to believe? I think it is a great show but like all shows it must end sometime. The actors are probably sick of doing it and already have more money than they could spend (getting between $750,000 and $1million per episode right now) so they all think they are great actors and want to try out other movies, shows, etc. I'll be sad to see it go as it is still one of the few good sitcoms but it is in fact time for them to call it quits.

Friends has sucked for a while. It physically hurts me to watch it this season that it's gotten so awful. I have every episode burned on CD, have Season 1-5 on DVD, know almost everything there is to know about Friends, but it should have been put in the ground a long time ago.
 
How many times can that creepy woman do the "come here I want you, get away from me, break up with the great woman you are dating for me, and get away from me" thing with the whiney guy?

Well when you consider how popular the Survivor series was and the first "Joe Bachelor" it's obvious that many who watch TV are friggin Morons
