fyi: The Razr can be found for free. Unless you're trying to upgrade an existing phone, getting one isn't expensive.

Huh? How is drag and click easier than plug in and do nothing?

Not everyone just dumps their entire music collection onto their mp3 player. Even if it does fit.

why wouldn't you move them all?

I have plenty of music that I dont personally like. Music for the wife or stuff that I ripped for my sister a while back.

Did you notice that AT has an entire forum dedicated to getting the best price for all things technological? It's the Hot Deals forum. This is a testament to how much AT users demand the best prices for the best-quality equipment. I don't know jack about the RAZR, but the iPod is way overpriced for what it offers. It's not hard to find a better MP3 palyer for less money.

People buy/bought Sony....

The battery sucks and speaker phone could not have been worse. Sorry looks aren't everything. I get more bang for my buck choosing other phones...

don't rip everything into a lossless format then. you can't tell the difference anyway. this has been proven many times.

I look at it from the slightly higher lever of just hating Motorola products in general.

My RAZR rocks. Best phone I ever had as far as a phone goes. Features, I didn't care about, except BT.
Why all the "RAZR's all look the same, too many of them" rants. So does every LG and Samsung out there. And if it looks wild and one of a kind, it won't last. Everyone will buy that too.
To me, the RAZR is like a flip phone, blending into anoynmity.

Agreed, I like my RAZR. In my experience, it's the best phone I've ever owned.

I hate things that really really suck. RaZrs really really suck because they are aging in technology and the hype is ??. I can understand the iPod hype and I even have one. Sure there might be better products, but only marginally better.

People hate RaZrs because they're overrated POS phones made by Motorola with the worlds worst/slowest OS with aging technolgoy that still costs a fortune.

iPods are hated simply because they are too popoular and they are made by Apple, or whatever random@$$ reasons.

So I see a legit reason to hate razrs, but for ipods, its questionable..

what's this aging technology in the razr you speak of?

The whole phone?
its cheaply made has crappy recpetion the camera is only VGA.. the OS is horrible...

give me a Nokia any day of the week over a POS rzr.. hell even the free craptastic Nokias are better than this paperweight.

6230i is still a superior phone in the same price point.

I get absolutely great reception, I couldn't care less about a crappy camera with no lens to speak of, the OS is better than on my old samsung phone (but worse than my older Nokia), and I can't stand candybar phones anyway, so most of the Nokia line is out.

Plus I can synch and charge the phone with a standard USB cable that I have for free.

Popularity isnt' exactly a bad thing... there's custom third-party software available for the RAZR that aren't available for most other phones.

I hate the iPod for the reasons mentioned above...it's a trend that too many people buy into without researching...they buy it for looks then gripe about the interface and the whole security thing...Buy it for use, not for looks...

And I don't hate the RAZR...they're expensive and poorly built, but hey, go for it...I'm buying a Sanyo Katana soon...

Expensive? I got mine for $30, AR, and now they're FAR...

Edit: Actually, that's why I got mine, it was pretty cheap for the size and functionality.

Let me count the reasons I hated my RAZR....

1. Dropped calls A LOT!
2. The call button is on the left of the phone and the end button is on the right of the phone. Once you get into the menu of the phone, the select button is on the right, and the exit button is on the left! WTF motorola, you suck at life!!
3. Dust collects under the screens like a mad man. Happened on every motorola phone I have owned, yet hasnt happened on my sony S710A or my tmobile MDA.
4. Slow user interface and menus are not intuitive (See above)
