Why is the "Pina Colada" song not on Shrek DVD?

I just watched the Shrek DVD my kids got for Christmas and noticed during Farquads "dating game" scene that The Pina Colada song wasn't there, anyone know why? Also during the ending on the song: "I'm a Believer" the music isn't as obvious or upbeat as it was at the theatre and it seems like a different version. Anyone here a Shrek expert with the answers, I've gotta know.

I can check tonight, but as best as I remember the Pina Colada song is there. I doubt I would remember it from when I saw it in the theater 6 months ago, & I clearly remember the song you're talking about.

I just watched it on my way to work and on my copy it was there, this was on the second disk, but I remember the only difference between the first and the second disk was one was a standard screen version and the second was the widescreen. That's wierd that your's didn't have that scene.

Maybe I'm crazy but I will check again tonight, but I am almost positive it is not on mine, my wife even noticed so I hope both of us aren't crazy.

How were you watching your disc? Do you have a home theatre setup or were you just watching in stereo? If you're just watching in stereo, make sure you select the Stereo or Dolby Surround sound track and not the Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack ... Its possible that the music was being lost in the translation of DD5.1 or DTS to Stereo ... I know when I used to watch DVDs in stereo that a lot of things were not very obvious and extremely subdued sounding really faint or completely gone ... Depends on the DVD player itself I'm sure, but just thought that might help. :)
