Why is The Old Spaghetti Factory so expensive for the amount of food you get?

Had the Half and Half platter (spaghetti with spinach and chesese ravioli) for almost $12 today for lunch. I thought I was going to get so much spaghetti and ravioli that I wouldn't want to see and eat them again for a few months. Nope, barely filled me up. Their sauce sucks too. It's just tomato sauce with meat. For $12 I can make spaghetti 10x better.

that's a good question. I've never heard of the OSF, but I love the Spaghetti Warehouse. Haven't been there in awhile. And I never really ordered spaghetti either, usually the other things.

Though in the end, half of it is just the atmosphere, though the food was good. I do prefer Olive Garden for most Americanized-Italian food.

How spread out is the Spaghetti Warehouse? I knew there was one in Toledo, OH, and always thought it was just a local place. Then I discover there is one in Columbus, and they even claim they are the only restaurant. I'm like HA, one in Toledo just like you :grumble:. Haven't went there yet though.

Go to a real Italian restaurant.

OSF and Olive Garden don't count.

Be thankful bro.

A MOMENT ON THE LIPS, A LIFETIME ON THE HIPS.

BTW, if you want your pound of pasta, go to Maggiano's or Bucca di Beppo.........A family platter will feed you and your FIVE children in your trailer for a week!

wiki says they are owned by different companies but have similiar features. seems both places have a streetcar/trolley car in every one of their restaurants. interesting, ive never even heard of the spaghetti warehouse...

Take it back.
For that matter, neither does Bucca Di Beppo.

I'm with you on that one.

Mods, go ahead and close this thread. We've settled our differences.

Their pasta is okay...nothing special that's for sure. Everything else they serve is also way over-rated. Yeah, I'd like a salad. OK, here's a small bowl of lettuce with a few shards of carrot and some dressing.
