I'm outraged whenever I see a Puerto Rican being passed off as a Mexican. Holy shit I rage, rage soo bad! I even kick a baby.

Sounds like my wife.

She hates when they pass off non mexican's as mexicans. She couldn't get past Antonio Banderas in desperado being a non mexican playing a mexican.

That actually pisses me off. Why the hell couldn't Fox cast an actual paralyzed person for the part. All this time I thought to myself "damn, that's one cool ass paralyzed kid. He moves better than me and he has no legs."

What a frikken farce. Paralyzed people everywhere should be appalled and Fox shamed for casting him. I am 100% sure there are actual paralyzed people who could have played that part perfectly. :(

It would make the episode where he dreamed he could walk quite difficult to film.

It's also probably safer to have a non-handicapped person playing the part of someone handicapped when it comes to dancing/etc in a wheelchair, so insurance would be cheaper (gotta think of the $$$).
Also easier in general to run a show without having an actual disabled person there, when you consider the sort of sets they have to work on/with.

Also, they would need to find a disabled actor who could and would want to dance and sing in such a show.

Ha. Yeah. I'm also BOILING WITH RAGE because Brokeback Mountain used straight actors.

Is your wife crazy as hell? Mexico was a Spanish colony and Banderas is Spanish. It's no different from using James McAvoy (Scottish) to play an American in Xmen. He looks the same and sounds the same so it's close enough.

Obviously you've never been to Spain or Mexico. Believe me when I tell you those people do NOT think they are the same.

So, OP, are you going to stand on the sidelines while this injustice continues, or are you going hop on a plane, track this non-cripple down, and make "it" right?
