I haven't been keeping up to date on the trending graphics cards, recently noticed that the 780ti has come out. How much better is the 780TI compared to a normal 780 or titan? Is it worth the purchase compared to a titan or normal 780? Looking for any information regarding this, feel free to post.

Thanks

If you had to buy one which one would you purchase and why?

780 Ti is the best gaming card available from nvidia. Only buy Titan if you need the 6GB of ram. The Ti is faster than the Titan and the regular 780

It's about ~10% better than the titan at gaming, and will be around 25-30% better than the regular 780 (with equal cooling). Right now only the reference 780 ti's are available, so after market 780s like the classified or lightning will be much closer to a reference TI's performance.

I bought the 780 TI because now that keplar is maxed, they won't be releasing a better chip until 20nm.

it's pretty obvious why it's faster when you look at the specs. And why do you have to ask how much faster is when all you have to do is Google the tons of reviews to see? I just don't understand questions like this that can be answered from just a few minutes of looking.

This is classic Toyota response. I love it

OP don't mind Toyota. He's like that with everybody but he's ok :D

On topic: the GTX 780ti is the fastest card Nvidia has right now, it's the way to go if you want the best performing part period. It's a beast

I feel like this should be accompanied by a meme, possibly Red Foreman.

In this case he is right. Take five or ten minutes and read a review, like the one right here at Anandtech. If you still have questions or need clarification after that, post them.

Edit:

To answer the question in VERY general terms, for gaming:

Titan is not a viable option anymore. Slower and more expensive than 780Ti. Beyond this, it totally depends on resolution and what you are going to play.

I'd buy one of the factory overclocked 780s for 1080p. More than enough. High resolution/multi-monitor gaming might justify the 780Ti.
